Adeela Firdous is a Research Fellow at the Berghof Foundation, specialising in narrative-building techniques and storytelling methods in conflict and post-conflict settings. Her work focuses on integrating narrative approaches into peace support and conflict resolution frameworks.

Adeela has previously worked as a Human Rights Support Intern at the United Nations Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (UNOHCHR) in Geneva, Switzerland, where she engaged in stakeholder collaboration, strategic planning, and advocacy on human rights protections. She also worked as a Critical Legal Trainee at European Center for Constitutional and Human Rights (ECCHR) in Berlin, Germany, focusing on shrinking civic spaces and indigenous rights violations.

Her experience includes roles as a Law and Advocacy Officer at Citizens Against Hate in India, where she managed human rights projects, supported network of survivors' families, and coordinated strategic litigation in domestic forums. She has also contributed to the Association of Parents of Disappeared Persons (APDP) and Jammu and Kashmir Right to Information Movement, focusing on data analysis, legal research, and advocacy.

Adeela holds a Master of Global Affairs in International Peace Studies from the University of Notre Dame and a B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) from the Faculty of Law, University of Kashmir.
