Stina M. Lundström is an Associate Researcher in the department for Conflict Transformation Research. She was previously engaged as a co-researcher and co-coordinator on various projects on inclusivity and participation in peace processes and in post-war states and societies. Since 2015, Stina has co-lead our work stream that focuses on capacity-building and trainings for Non-State Armed Group female combatants in transition to post-war social and political leaders. Currently Stina is co-leading our project on female ex-combatants that provides support and training to our network with female members of Non-State Armed Groups in peace negotiations, mediation, and post-war leadership. Stina has also previous experiences with conducting international collaborative research projects and carrying out consultancy projects for international peacebuilding organisations, and has previous work experience as a trainer for UN Women. She holds an MA in European Studies from Lund University, Sweden.

Stina M. Lundström ist assoziierte Wissenschaftlerin in der Abteilung für Konflikttransformationsforschung. Zuvor war sie für das EU-geförderte Forschungsprojekt Kulturen der Regierungsführung und Konfliktresolution in Europa und Indien tätig und koordinierte 2012/13 vorübergehend das Berghof Handbook for Conflict Transformation. Zu ihren Forschungsschwerpunkten gehören inklusive Regierungsführung in Nachkriegsgesellschaften, Staatsbildung nach Kriegen, politische Abkommen, die EU im Bereich zivile Konfliktbearbeitung und deren Einfluss auf lokaler Ebene in den EU-Anrainerstaaten sowie die Rolle von Kämpferinnen nichtstaatlicher, bewaffneter Gruppen.
Stina Lundström hat an der Folke Bernadotte Akademie in Schweden gearbeitet und war Trainerin bei UN Women. Sie hat einen Magisterabschluss in Europäischen Studien von der Lund Universität, Schweden.
