Christian Gülisch leads the MENA Unit at Berghof Foundation. Before joining our organisation, he was the Head of Programmes Middle East at Forum Civil Peace Service where he managed the country offices and peacebuilding initiatives in the region. Prior to that he also worked for Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) in the Middle East and the Transparency International Secretariat. Christian holds Master’s degree in Social Science from the Global Studies Programme of the University of Freiburg and FLACSO Institute Buenos Aires.

Christian Gülisch leitet die MENA-Abteilung der Berghof Foundation. Bevor er zu unserer Organisation kam, war er Leiter der Programme für den Nahen Osten beim Forum Ziviler Friedensdienst, wo er die Länderbüros und Friedensförderungsinitiativen in der Region leitete. Davor arbeitete er auch für die Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) im Nahen Osten und das Sekretariat von Transparency International. Christian hat einen Master-Abschluss in Sozialwissenschaften vom Global Studies Programm der Universität Freiburg und dem FLACSO Institut Buenos Aires.
