Pascal works as a Project Manager for the Somalia team in the Sub-Saharan Africa Unit. Before his time at Berghof Foundation, Pascal worked for GIZ in Ethiopia and supported the “African Peace and Security Architecture Programme” in cooperation with the African Union as well as the “Cross-Border Collaboration Programme” in the border region of Sudan and Ethiopia. Other work experience includes internships at Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung and at the German Embassy in Pretoria.
He has a Bachelor Degree in Political Science and Media Sciences from Friedrich Schiller University Jena and a Master Degree in International Relations from TU Dresden.

Zuvor arbeitete Pascal für die GIZ in Äthiopien und unterstützte in dieser Zeit das African Peace and Security ArchitectureProgramme in Kooperation mit der Afrikanischen Union, sowie das Cross-Border Collaboration Programme in der Grenzregion zwischen Sudan und Äthiopien. Weitere Arbeitserfahrung sammelte er unter anderem durch Praktika bei der Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung und an der Deutschen Botschaft in Pretoria.
Er hat einen Bachelorabschluss in Politik- und Kommunikationswissenschaften von der Friedrich-Schiller-Universität Jena und einen Masterabschluss in Internationale Beziehungen von der TU Dresden.
