Christine Seifert is Project Manager for Ukraine at the Berghof Foundation. Previously, she worked as Strategic Partnerships Manager and Project Manager at the Sub-Saharan Africa Unit, where she was responsible for a project on transitional justice in Somalia. Prior to joining the Berghof Foundation in April 2021, she served different roles at the German Federal Foreign Office, namely Spokesperson and Head of the Economic Affairs at the German Embassy Lisbon, Desk Officer for Spain, Portugal and Andorra and Policy Officer at the Steering Group for Strategic Communication. Between 2015 and 2017, Christine has already worked at the Berghof Foundation as Executive Assistant and Manager of the Grantmaking Programme.
Christine holds an MSc in Conflict Studies from the London School of Economics and a BA in European Social and Political Studies from University College London. During her undergraduate studies, she spent one year as an exchange student at the University of Barcelona. She speaks English, German, Spanish and Ukrainian.

Christine Seifert ist Projektmanagerin für die Ukraine bei der Berghof Foundation. Zuvor war sie als Strategic Partnerships Manager und Projektmanagerin im Referat Subsahara-Afrika tätig, wo sie für ein Projekt zur Übergangsjustiz in Somalia verantwortlich war. Vor ihrem Wechsel zur Berghof Foundation im April 2021 war Christine in verschiedenen Positionen für über drei Jahre für das Auswärtige Amt tätig, nämlich als Pressesprecherin und Leiterin des Wirtschaftsreferats an der Deutschen Botschaft Lissabon, Länderreferentin für Spanien, Portugal und Andorra sowie Referentin im Desinformationsteam der Steuerungsgruppe für Strategische Kommunikation. Zwischen 2015 und 2017 hat Christine bereits als Assistentin des Geschäftsführers und Leiterin des Grantmaking Programms bei der Berghof Foundation gearbeitet.
Christine hat einen MSc in Conflict Studies von der London School of Economics und einen BA in European Social and Political Studies vom University College London. Im Rahmen des letzteren Studiums studierte sie zwei Semester an der Universität Barcelona. Sie spricht fließend Deutsch, Englisch, Spanisch und Ukrainisch.
