Uli Jäger is Senior Associate on peace education at the Berghof Foundation. Previously, he has led the Global Learning Department and has been co-director of the former Institute for Peace Education, Tübingen e.V. (Institut für Friedenspädagogik, Tübingen e.V. - IFT) since 1986. He both designed and implemented various national and international projects on peace education. As an experienced workshop facilitator he worked in Sri Lanka, India, Macedonia, Russia, Jordan and Iran. Uli is a member of the advisory board of the Peace Institute Freiburg. For over 20 years he has been a guest lecturer for "Peace Education in regions of crisis, conflict and war" at the Institute for Political Science, University of Tübingen. In July 2017, Uli was appointed honorary professor.
Uli has published, edited and co-edited over 20 books and CD-ROMs. He holds an MA in Political Science, Sociology and Educational Science from the University of Tübingen.
