Amelie Gätjen works as Project Manager on negotiation support for Resistance and Liberation Movements and supports the Strategic Partnerships team. Prior to joining Berghof, she has worked in the field of digital democracy and participation in Berlin at Liquid Democracy e.V. and at the International Centre for Migration Policy Development in Vienna. She holds a Master’s degree in International Relations from Freie University Berlin, Humboldt University Berlin, and Potsdam University, and a Bachelor’s degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences from University College Maastricht and Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. During her studies, she focused on conflict resolution, feminist and postcolonial theory in international relations, and migration studies.
