Joshua Rogers is a Senior Advisor in the Middle East and North Africa Department. Geographically, his work focuses on Yemen and the Gulf states and thematically on local governance, political economy, and the peace pillar in the HDP nexus. He has more than 15 years of experience in peacebuilding and peace process support in contexts including Egypt, Libya, Yemen and Tunisia with Berghof, Saferworld, the EU Delegation in Sanaa, and the International Network on Conflict and Fragility. He holds a PhD in Development Studies from SOAS, University of London, and degrees from Oxford University and the Free University of Berlin.
