Isabel is Project Lead for The Berlin Moot, Berghof’s new flagship conference, in the Negotiation and Mediation Support Department.
Before joining Berghof, Isabel worked in post-conflict reconstruction for KfW Development Bank in Iraq and Central America, as a researcher for the Centre of Competence on Humanitarian Negotiation (CCHN) and as a freelance consultant.
Isabel holds a Master’s Degree in Peace and Conflict Studies from Goethe University Frankfurt am Main and a Master in Public Administration from the Harvard Kennedy School where she focused on negotiation and mediation. She also teaches a class in “Negotiation and International Mediation” at her alma mater in Frankfurt am Main.

Bevor sie zu Berghof kam, arbeitete Isabel im Wiederaufbau nach Konflikten für die KfW Entwicklungsbank im Irak und in Mittelamerika, als Forscherin für das Centre of Competence on Humanitarian Negotiation (CCHN) und als freiberufliche Beraterin.Isabel hat einen Master-Abschluss in Friedens- und Konfliktforschung von der Goethe-Universität Frankfurt am Main und einen Master in Public Administration von der Harvard Kennedy School, wo sie sich auf Verhandlungen und Mediation konzentrierte. Außerdem unterrichtet sie an ihrer Alma Mater in Frankfurt am Main den Kurs "Negotiation and International Mediation".
