Dennis Mugambi joined the Berghof Foundation as a finance manager in 2024.

Prior to that, Dennis worked as a banker in development finance while in Kenya and in the last several years, in project finance management for a number of international development, humanitarian and relief organisations including GIZ and the International Rescue Committee in Germany. He has extensive experience with the financial management of institutional grants such as the EU and German Federal Ministries.

Dennis holds a master’s degree in International Relations from the United States International University-Africa, with a focus on diplomacy, foreign policy and development as well as a master’s degree in political science from the Leuphana Universität Lüneburg, specialising in public policy and good governance.
