Natascha Zupan joined the Berghof Foundation as Head of the Global Learning Hub for Transitional Justice and Reconciliation in February 2022. She has been working at the interface of peacebuilding policy and practise, state and civil society for many years, with a specific focus on peace processes in the Middle East and former Yugoslav countries, transitional justice as well as conflict sensitive development cooperation.
Previously, Natascha was Director of the Working Group on Peace and Development (FriEnt), an association of governmental organisations, church development agencies, civil society networks, and political foundations. She also worked with peace building organisations in Palestine and North Macedonia, KOFF/swisspeace and the Swiss Federal Ministry of Foreign Affairs, supporting the design and implementation of Switzerland's regional peace building programme in the Western Balkans.
Natascha holds an M.A. in Middle Eastern Studies and History.

Natascha Zupan leitet seit Februar 2022 den Global Learning Hub for Transitional Justice and Reconciliation. Sie hat immer an der Schnittstelle von Policy und Praxis, staatlichen und zivilgesellschaftlichen Ansätzen der Friedensförderung gearbeitet, insbesondere zu Friedensprozessen im Nahen Osten und Ländern des ehemaligen Jugoslawiens, Vergangenheitsarbeit und Konfliktsensibilität.
Natascha war Leiterin der Arbeitsgemeinschaft Frieden und Entwicklung (FriEnt), einem Zusammenschluss von staatlichen Organisationen, kirchlichen Hilfswerken, zivilgesellschaftlichen Netzwerken und politischen Stiftungen. Sie hat mit Friedensorganisationen in Palästina und Nordmazedonien gearbeitet, war Programme Officer beim Kompetenzzentrum Friedensförderung (KOFF)/swisspeace und für das Eidgenössische Departement für Auswärtige Angelegenheiten als Beraterin für Friedensförderung im westlichen Balkan tätig.
Natascha hat Islamwissenschaften und Geschichte in Marburg, Damaskus und Bonn studiert.
