Dagmar Nolden works as Senior Project Manager for the Programme Global Learning for Conflict Transformation. In her work, she focuses in particular on peace education in the context of forced migration. She led the development and implementation of peace education formats within Jordanian refugee camps as part of the project Nonviolent Education in Jordan, and managed the Germany based project Conflict-sensitive Refugee Assistance. As experienced facilitator, she was involved in the project Peace Counts on Tour. Furthermore, she is a regular guest lecturer for Tübingen University for the seminar and study trip on the Peace Boat.

Currently, she supervises the project “Peace Education meets Religion”, where she facilitates online qualification courses for multipliers and as trainer for Berghof Foundation training courses.

Before joining Berghof Foundation, she worked as legal advisor for refugees for the Africa and Middle East Refugee Assistance in Egypt, and as a field researcher for the Feinstein International Center at Tufts University on the smuggling and trafficking of refugees. Dagmar is a certified Do-No-Harm trainer and holds an MA in Peace Studies and International Relations from Tübingen University.

Dagmar Nolden arbeitet als Projektmanagerin im Programm Friedenspädagogik und Globales Lernen. Im Rahmen des Projekts Gewaltfreie Erziehung in Jordanien konzeptionierte und implementierte sie verschiedene friedenspädagogische Formate im Kontext jordanischer Flüchtlingslager. Zuvor leitete sie das Projekt Konfliktsensitive Flüchtlingsarbeit: Begleitung, Qualifizierung und Ermutigung von Freiwilligen und war im Projekt Peace Counts on Tour tätig.

Auf Anfrage bietet sie für die Berghof Foundation weiterhin Workshops zu Konfliktsensitiver Flüchtlingsarbeit an.

Bevor sie im Juli 2014 zur Berghof Foundation kam, arbeitete sie als Rechtsberaterin für Flüchtlinge bei Africa and Middle East Refugee Assistance (AMERA) in Kairo, Ägypten, und betrieb Feldforschung für das Feinstein International Center der Tufts University zum illegalen Schmuggel und Menschenhandel von eritreischen Flüchtlingen entlang der nordostafrikanischen Migrationsroute. Sie ist zertifizierte Do-No-Harm-Trainerin.

Dagmar Nolden hat einen Master in Friedensforschung und Internationaler Politik sowie einen Bachelor in Politikwissenschaft und Nahost-Studien der Universität Tübingen.
