Lukas Auer is IT Coordinator at the Berghof Foundation. In this role, he takes care of the technical equipment for our employees, the communication and printing infrastructure, as well as the event and conference technology at our three locations in Berlin, Tübingen and Beirut.
Before joining Berghof, Lukas managed the IT of a Viennese antitrust law firm and worked, among other things, as an executive assistant for a nationwide animal welfare association and a young technology startup. He also spent many years volunteering in various NGOs (Red Cross, Attac).
Lukas holds a B.A. in Development Studies from the University of Vienna and initiated the construction of a new school in the West African country of Guinea-Bissau with his own small NGO.

Lukas Auer ist IT Koordinator bei der Berghof Foundation und kümmert sich in dieser Rolle um die technische Ausstattung unserer Mitarbeitenden, die Kommunikations- und Druckerinfrastruktur sowie die Event- und Konferenztechnik an unseren drei Standorten Berlin, Tübingen und Beirut.
Bevor Lukas zu Berghof kam, betreute er die IT einer Wiener Kartellrechtskanzlei und arbeitete unter anderem als Assistent der Geschäftsführung für einen bundesweiten Tierschutzverband sowie ein junges Technologie-Startup. Zudem engagierte er sich viele Jahre ehrenamtlich in verschiedenen NGO’s (Rotes Kreuz, Attac).
Lukas hält einen B.A. in Development Studies der Universität Wien und initiierte mit seiner eigenen kleinen NGO den Bau einer neuen Schule im westafrikanischen Guinea-Bissau.
