Heidi Hermisson serves as Senior Strategic Partnerships Manager at the Berghof Foundation.

Before joining Berghof, Heidi worked at the Nuclear Threat Initiative in Washington, DC as Senior Director for Development. In this role she was responsible for institutional funding from governments and foundations. She also developed and implemented fundraising strategies, and assisted individual teams and projects in all aspects of the fundraising pipeline. In prior roles, Heidi has led and supported fundraising at the DC Environmental Film Festival, the American Academy in Berlin, and the Brookings Institution.

Heidi has an M.A. in Political Science from the Transatlantic Master’s (TAM) program at the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill, and completed her B.A. at the University of Pittsburgh.
