Luis Ernesto is currently working as a student assistant in the Ethiopia Unit on the Supporting Multi-Track Dialogue in Ethiopia Project, after recently finishing an internship at Berghof where he helped in the organization of The Berlin Moot. Luis is finishing his Masters in International Studies Peace and Conflict Research in the Goethe Universität Frankfurt. Before starting with his studies in Germany, he worked for Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) in preparation for the Food Systems Summit and with International Organization for Migration (IOM) as a consultant after working with the Central American Secretariat for Economic Integration.
Luis Ernesto holds a Bachelor degree in International Relations from Universidad Rafael Landívar in Guatemala and a Masters degree in Social Innovation and Solidarity Economy from Universidad de Salamanca in Spain.

Luis Ernesto arbeitet derzeit als studentische Hilfskraft in der Ethiopia Unit, nachdem er kürzlich ein Praktikum am Berghof absolviert hat, wo er bei der Organisation des Berlin Moot mitwirkte. Er beendet gerade seinen Master in Internationalen Studien Friedens- und Konfliktforschung an der Goethe Universität Frankfurt. Luis Ernesto trabaja actualmente como asistente estudiatil en la Unidad de Etiopía, tras finalizar recientemente unas prácticas en Berghof, donde ayudó en la organización del Berlin Moot. Está terminando su máster en Estudios Internacionales e Investigación sobre la Paz y los Conflictos en la Goethe Universität Frankfurt. Antes de comenzar sus estudios en Alemania, trabajó para la FAO en la preparación de la Cumbre sobre Sistemas Alimentarios y con la OIM como consultor tras colaborar con la Secretaría de Integración Económica Centroamericana.
Luis Ernesto es Licenciado en Relaciones Internacionales por la Universidad Rafael Landívar de Guatemala y Máster en Innovación Social y Economía Solidaria por la Universidad de Salamanca en España.
