Laura Steinacher joined Berghof’s Afghanistan team in January 2022 and the peace education team in May 2023.
Before starting at the Berghof Foundation, Laura completed the Development Cooperation Young Professionals Programme which included assignments at BMZ, GIZ Philippines and the UN Women’s Peace and Humanitarian Fund. She has also had the opportunity to work with local NGOs in Bolivia and the Philippines as well as with KfW development bank.
Laura holds a B.A. in Sociology with a minor in Public Law from the University of Tübingen and an M.A. in Peace and Conflict Studies from the University of Frankfurt am Main.

Laura Steinacher wird im Januar 2022 in das Afghanistan-Team und im Mai 2023 in das Friedenserziehungsteam von Berghof aufgenommen.
Davor absolvierte Laura das EZ-Traineeprogramm, das Stationen beim BMZ, der GIZ Philippinen und dem UN Women's Peace and Humanitarian Fund umfasste. Außerdem hatte sie die Möglichkeit, mit lokalen NROs in Bolivien und auf den Philippinen sowie bei der KfW Entwicklungsbank zu arbeiten.
Laura hat einen B.A. in Soziologie mit Nebenfach Öffentliches Recht von der Universität Tübingen und einen M.A. in Friedens- und Konfliktforschung von der Universität Frankfurt am Main.
