Diana recently joined Berghof's accounting team to provide operational support to our organization. She holds a Diploma in Political Sciences and a Master's Degree in Interdisciplinary Latin American Studies from Free University Berlin. Prior to joining Berghof, she worked as Junior Finance Manager at Kiron Open Higher Education. Her professional experience is primarily in the NGO sector, where she has worked on various international projects and supported the organisation of international events. To mention some of them, she worked as academic coordinator for the regional project PARTICIPA, and as project assistant for the regional program of Political Participation of Indigenous People in Latin America (PPI) for the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung Bolivian Office in La Paz.
In 2022, she successfully transitioned to Finance and Project Controlling within the NGO sector after certified training at IHK Berlin. Additionally, she is recognized for her expertise as a professional female chess player.

Sie hat ein Diplom in Politikwissenschaften und einen Master in interdisziplinären Lateinamerikastudien von der Freien Universität Berlin. Bevor sie zu Berghof kam, arbeitete sie als Junior Finance Manager bei Kiron Open Higher Education. Ihre Berufserfahrung hat sie vor allem im NGO-Sektor gesammelt, wo sie an verschiedenen internationalen Projekten mitgearbeitet und die Organisation internationaler Veranstaltungen unterstützt hat. Sie arbeitete als akademische Koordinatorin für das Regionalprojekt PARTICIPA und als Projektassistentin für das Regionalprogramm Politische Partizipation Indigener Völker in Lateinamerika (PPI) für das Bolivienbüro der Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung in La Paz tätig.
Im Jahr 2022 wechselte sie nach einer zertifizierten Ausbildung bei der IHK Berlin erfolgreich in den Bereich Finanzen und Projektcontrolling für NPO’s. Außerdem ist sie als professionelle Schachspielerin in Lateinamerika bekannt.

Su experiencia profesional se desarrolló principalmente en el sector de las organizaciones no gubernamentales, donde ha trabajado en diversos proyectos internacionales y apoyado la organización de eventos internacionales de impacto social y político. Por mencionar algunos, trabajó como coordinadora académica del proyecto regional PARTICIPA-UE, y como asistente de proyectos del programa regional de Participación Política de los Pueblos Indígenas en América Latina (PPI) para la Oficina Boliviana de la Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung en La Paz.
En 2022, se pasó con éxito al campo de las finanzas y el control de proyectos en el sector de las ONG tras completar un programa de formación certificado en la Cámara de Industria y Comercio de Berlín. También es conocida como ajedrecista profesional en América Latina.
