Mohammad Al Mishlawi is a Project Manager at Berghof Foundation, leading the Rigorous Impact Evaluation (RIE) project on participatory planning and social cohesion in Lebanon and a research project on intergenerational perspectives for a renewed social contract in Lebanon.

He brings extensive experience in monitoring, evaluation and research across the humanitarian and development sectors, with a focus on governance, social cohesion and evidence-based programming. He managed several multi-stakeholder assignments such as midterm and final evaluations, multi-sectoral needs assessments and context analyses for both international and local organisations including UN ESCWA, Oxfam, Concern Worldwide, GIZ, and Terre des Hommes, combining academic research with practical field expertise. His expertise spans monitoring, evaluation and learning (MEAL), applied research and participatory approaches, with a focus on governance, peacebuilding and social cohesion.

Mohammad holds a Master’s degree in Development Studies from the Geneva Graduate Institute, specialising in power, conflict and development, and is committed to advancing evidence-based programming and amplifying local voices in shaping sustainable governance and peace processes.
