Lilian Bankiyan-Monfard is a Communications Manager at the Berghof Foundation, where she is responsible for the communications strategy for a high-level peace conference to be held in Berlin in spring 2024.
Prior to this, she worked in strategic communications at GIZ, where she developed the brand positioning and visibility for the PtX Hub, which catalyses the defossilisation of fuel, and the Women in Green Hydrogen Network, which amplifies the voices of women in the field. At Habitat for Humanity Great Britain, Lilian managed corporate partnerships and events to secure funding for international development projects. She has also worked across a number of UK-based governmental organisations, NGOs and think tanks on civil society issues, such as affordable housing and access to education.
Lilian holds a master’s degree in Migration and Diaspora studies from SOAS, the University of London, and a bachelor’s degree in Geography and International Relations from the University of Exeter.
