Ahmed is a peacebuilding worker, civil and environmental engineer and a certified project and programme management professional (PMD-Pro) with over ten years of experience managing humanitarian, development and conflict-sensitive programmes in Iraq (including work with GIZ, Mercy Corps, NRC, Handicap International, MSF, and Terre des Hommes). His work focuses on the planning, delivery and oversight of complex, multi-stakeholder projects in fragile and conflict-affected settings.
He has led and supported programme design, implementation, coordination, and monitoring, while providing technical advisory support to international agencies, local authoritiesn and civil society organizations CSOs. He is currently serving as a Project Manager with the Berghof Foundation’s Iraq Programme, where he supports the design, implementation and analysis of peacebuilding and climate governance initiatives.

أنا اعمل في مجال بناء السلام والبيئة، ومهندس مدني وبيئي، وحاصل على شهادة احترافية في إدارة المشاريع والبرامج (PMD-Pro)، ولدي أكثر من عشر سنوات من الخبرة في إدارة البرامج الإنسانية والتنموية والبرامج الحساسة للنزاعات في العراق )بما في ذلك العمل مع الوكالة الألمانية للتعاون الدولي GIZ، ومنظمة ميرسي كورMC، والمجلس النرويجي للاجئين NRC، ومنظمة هانديكاب إنترناشونالHI، ومنظمة أطباء بلا حدود MSF، ومنظمة تير دي زوم(Tdh . يتركز عملي على تخطيط وتنفيذ والإشراف على المشاريع المعقدة متعددة أصحاب المصلحة في البيئات الهشة والمتأثرة بالنزاعات.
قدتُ وساهمتُ في تصميم البرامج وتنفيذها وتنسيقها ومتابعتها، إضافة إلى تقديم الدعم والاستشارات الفنية للوكالات الدولية والسلطات المحلية ومنظمات المجتمع المدني. أشغل حالياً منصب مدير مشروع في برنامج العراق التابع لمؤسسة بيرغهوف، حيث أعمل على دعم تصميم وتنفيذ وتحليل مبادرات حوكمة المناخ و بناء السلام.
