Olena Kashkarova is Project Manager in the General Regional Peace Support Department working on Ukraine. With over 15 years of experience, Olena has worked with NGOs, community initiatives and international organisations in politically sensitive and conflict-affected Ukrainian, Belarusian and international contexts. Her work has included designing and facilitating dialogue processes, trainings and multi-stakeholder programmes, as well as coordinating international projects. She served as a Reconciliation Specialist at UNDP and Executive Director of Foundations for Freedom, and worked with organisations such as OSCE, IOM, GIZ, IREX and Pro Peace in facilitation, coordination and training roles. She also served as an international council member of Initiatives of Change International.
As a peacebuilding practitioner, facilitator and project manager working at the intersection of dialogue, conflict transformation and civil society development, Olena has worked in diverse and often complex contexts, on projects spanning contested historical narratives, political polarisation, the integration of internally displaced persons, social cohesion, and participatory approaches within public institutions, including the Ministry of Veterans Affairs of Ukraine, at both national and local government levels.
She is a Certified Trainer in Nonviolent Communication through the International Center for Nonviolent Communication (CNVC).

Sie ist vom International Center for Nonviolent Communication (CNVC) zertifizierte Trainerin für Gewaltfreie Kommunikation.
