Michaela is a senior Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) expert, currently working on MEL in our multi-country Infrastructures for Peace (i4p) Programme. Before joining Berghof, she led in more than 40 strategic, thematic, portfolio and programme evaluations and strategy development processes as a team leader and independent consultant, chiefly in international cooperation. She has contributed to advancing the international MEL sector as a contributor to specialist publications, blog author, trainer, facilitator, mentor and advisor, most recently on the World Food Programme Evaluation Methods Advisory Panel. Her academic background is in international public law, international relations, and regional studies.

Michaela, eine langjährige Expertin für Monitoring, Evaluation und Organisationslernen (MEL), ist aktuell MEL-Beraterin in unserem länderübergreifenden Programm „Infrastructures for Peace“ (i4p). Vor ihrer Arbeit bei Berghof konzipierte und implementierte sie mehr als 40 strategische, thematische, Portfolio- und Programmevaluierungen und entwickelte Strategien, überwiegend im Bereich der internationalen Zusammenarbeit. Als Autorin von Fachpublikationen und Blogs, Trainerin, Moderatorin, Mentorin und Beraterin trägt sie zur Weiterentwicklung des internationalen MEL-Sektors bei, zuletzt im Evaluation Methods Advisory Panel des World Food Programme (WFP). Sie verfügt über Studienabschlüsse in Völkerrecht, Politik (Internationale Beziehungen) und Regionalstudien.
