Gelila Enbaye is a Mercator Fellow on International Affairs, supporting the work of the Sub-Saharan Africa unit in Ethiopia and Sudan. During her fellowship, she will explore the potential of “futures-thinking” in mediation and dialogue work. Previously, Gelila worked as a Research Associate at the Global Public Policy Institute (GPPi), where she co-developed a simulation game for conflict analysis and conducted research on mediation efforts in Sudan. She was a 2024/2025 Fellow with the Next Generation Foresight Practitioners program and participated in the 2024 Think Tank School.

Gelila Enbaye ist Fellow im Mercator Kolleg für Internationale Aufgaben und unterstützt die Arbeit der Subsahara-Afrika II Unit. Im Rahmen ihres Fellowships beleuchtet sie das Potenzial von „Futures Thinking“ in Mediations- und Dialogprozessen.
